The Master Singers perform repertoire from a rich choral tradition. The chamber ensemble is celebrating its Seventeenth Anniversary Concert Season in 2009-2010
with a subscription series featuring three concerts. The ensemble is dedicated
to the fostering, promotion and appreciation of choral music in the Greater Chippewa Valley.  The membership of The Master Singers come from colleges
and universities that are noted for a strong choral tradition throughout the
Midwest. The ensemble performs annually in local churches and concert halls,
as well as, cathedrals in Minneapolis and Saint Paul.

The Master Singers have collaborated with prominent conductors/composers including Jackson Berkey, Eph Ehly, James Fritschel, Dale Grotenhuis, Dan Kallman, James Mulholland and Z. Randall Stroope. The ensemble has appeared in concert with the Chippewa Valley Symphony, Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra, Philadelphia Brass, and gospel singer Robert Robinson. The Master Singers have been a guest artist in the Missa Choralis Series at the Basilica of Saint Mary in Minneapolis since 1997 and on the Richland Concert Association in Richland Center, Wisconsin in
2007. Having previously commissioned several choral works, the ensemble will premiere O Magnum Mysterium by Z. Randall Stroope in December. The ensemble will be featured in a holiday concert broadcast on Wisconsin Public
Radio in December 2009.

“The Master Singers are second to none! Their singing is the perfect
balance of heart and voice, tone quality is ingratiating, sense of
ensemble is never sacrificed, musicianship is of the highest degree.
The result is an exhilarating musical experience of the highest order!”

-- Dr. Eph Ehly, Professor Emeritus, University of Missouri-Kansas City
