The Master Singers - Allen Keniston

Allen Keniston, baritone, is a professor of psychology at the University
of Wisconsin – Eau Claire.  Allen began singing in choirs, choruses, and
small groups in high school and continued to do so while pursuing his undergraduate degree in psychology at Stanford University.  Pursuing a Ph.D. in child development at the University of Minnesota curtailed his opportunity to sing, but settling in Eau Claire provided many opportunities to resume one of his favorite activities.  Allen has made Eau Claire his home for the past 26 years.  He sang in the choir at First Congregational Church for many years before joining University Lutheran Church and its choir.
He has also sung in the Chippewa Valley Gospel Choir and the Eau Claire
Male Chorus.  Recently he resumed another musical avocation, clarinet playing, and joined with friends to create a klezmer band called Klezmazel.  This is Allen’s seventh season with The Master Singers.
