The Master Singers - Val Knobloch
Val Knobloch, tenor, has sung with The Master Singers for over 15 years and is an educational consultant for CESA 10, a regional educational agency. Knobloch received a B.M. in Music Performance and Education and a B.A. in Hispanic Studies degree from St. Norbert College and a Master of Science in Teaching degree with a Music History emphasis from UW-Eau Claire. He has sung with community choirs in Eau Claire and the Freiburger Kammerchor in Germany, as well as, choirs at Saint Norbert College, UW-Madison, and at UW-Eau Claire. As part of the UW-Eau Claire music staff, he founded the Vocal Jazz Ensemble and directed the Women's Chorus and Cabaret for five years plus time as the UW-EC Performing Arts Coordinator. In the community, he has served as the Executive Director at the Eau Claire Regional Arts Center, the Senior Choir director at Grace Lutheran for 25 years and the Chippewa Valley Community Chorus director for a number of years. At home, he enjoys time with his wife, his two young children and making music.
