The Master Singers - Cathy Reitz
Cathy Reitz, alto, is one of the Choral Directors at DeLong Middle School in Eau Claire. The Wisconsin Choral Director's Association awarded her the 2007 Outstanding Middle Level Choral Director's Award. She holds a Bachelor of Music from St. Norbert College, a Master of Education from the University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse and certification in The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. Cathy rediscovered the joy of choral singing as a member of the Richard Zielinski Singers, a professional choir based in Tampa, Florida. She also sings with Eau Claire's Chippewa Valley Big Band and the Great River Big Band in LaCrosse. She performs in local theater, on stage and in the pit. Cathy enjoys reading, stamping, sewing, talking, laughing, and spending time with her two children and one husband.
