The Master Singers - Cathryn Reitz

Cathryn Reitz, alto, is the Choral Director at DeLong Middle School in Eau Claire. She was awarded the 2011 Rockwell Outstanding Cooperating Teacher Award from UW-Eau Claire and received the 2007 Outstanding Middle Level Choral Director's Award from the Wisconsin Choral Director's Association. She holds a Bachelor of Music from St. Norbert College, a Master of Education from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and certification in The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. She sings with area big bands and jazz combos including the Tropp Big Band and the La Crosse Jazz Orchestra. Cathy is the conductor for the Chippewa Valley Community Chorus and performs in local theater, on stage and in the pit. Cathy enjoys reading, stamping, sewing, singing, talking, laughing, and spending time with her two children, one grand baby and one husband.
