The Master Singers - Mark Wacek
Mark Wacek, bass, is the 6-12 choral director/5th grade general music teacher for the Elk Mound School District. Prior to his employment there, he taught Pre-K-8th grade general music and middle school choir in Independence, Arcadia, and Waumandee in parochial schools and
directed the choral program at Antigo High School. He graduated from UW-Whitewater in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education.
Mark is also a member of the Valley Gospel Choir, Ludington Guard Band, and St. Joseph’s Church Choir in Menomonie. Outside of work, he enjoys reading and spending time with his wife Beth, family, friends, and his cat Icarus. This is his first season performing with the Master Singers and he
is excited to be part of the group.
